Living History Presentations (“Sankofa Remembrances”), Lectures, Tours, and Workshops are our specialties.

Day Clean (dey kleen) - language(s) and dialect: Gullah, Krio, early African Seminole Creole, and Geechee. Definition 1) Gullah Geechee, and Krio reference to the time of day - beginning of the day, first light, dawn, start of a new day, “day clean “; 2) Gullah Geechee philosophy of life - each day starts anew, “day clean”, the day is clean, it is fresh, no matter what happened yesterday today is a new day, a fresh day, a fresh start, “day clean".
